SGS Window Installations

Dry verge systems replace traditional sand-and-cement mortar fillets at the gable end of your roof with a maintenance-free, weather-resistant interlocking system. They look sharper, last longer, and prevent the slow degradation of mortar that exposes the roof structure to wind and water.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Do I need to replace fascias and soffits at the same time? +
It usually makes sense โ€” the access scaffolding is the major cost, so doing fascia, soffit, gutter and capping together is much more economical than separately. We'll always quote individual elements if you prefer.
How long do uPVC roofline products last? +
Quality uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering carry 25-year manufacturer warranties and routinely last 35+ years. Compared to painted timber fascias requiring repaint every 5 years, the cost saving is substantial.
Will scaffolding be needed? +
For most properties, yes โ€” full scaffolding is included in our quotes for safety and quality. Bungalows can sometimes be done with tower platforms.
Is your work guaranteed? +
Yes โ€” every roofline installation comes with our 10-year insurance-backed workmanship guarantee, alongside the manufacturer's 25-year product warranty.
